An impressive French Art Deco chandelier dating to circa 1920–1930, featuring an elaborate patinated wrought iron framework decorated with scrolling grapevines, leaves and grape clusters.
The chandelier features a large central bowl surrounded by six tulip-shaped shades in mottled yellow and dark amber pâte de verre glass. The richly coloured glass contrasts beautifully with the dark wrought iron framework.
Suspended from decorative iron supports and a chain, this chandelier is a fine example of French decorative lighting from the Art Deco period.
