A beautifully carved French oak armoire from the late 19th century, full of character and classic detail. The two doors feature large oval panels with hand-carved floral bouquets, ribbons, and foliage, all framed by shaped borders and deep relief carving. The carving continues across the top frieze with a central flower basket, and along the apron with repeated floral motifs.
The proportions are tall and impressive, with a strong cornice and gently shaped base. Inside, the armoire offers generous storage and can be fitted with shelves or a hanging rail depending on how you’d like to use it. It’s a wonderful statement piece for a bedroom, dressing room, or entrance hall.
